Patrick Mahomes is just 24 years old but already a wise and kind soul. The Kansas City Chiefs quarterback has been part of making NFL history after his team defeated the San Francisco 49ers, earning their first championship title in 50 years. Now it has been revealed that he also works on side projects that have earned him even more fans.

Mahomes is making waves in his community by helping the Veterans Community Project, a village of tiny homes, providing shelter for our country’s military veterans. He is actively involved and has been even seen painting the homes on his days off.

If that’s not enough to make you fall in love with this young and inspiring superstar, he also runs the 15 And The Mahomies Foundation, which helps to improve the quality of life for children in Kansas. It focuses on health, wellness, communities in need of resources and other charitable causes.

We need more people like him to make the world a better place.
