Meet John Henderson, 107, and his wife, Charlotte, 105, who hold the Guinness World Record for being the world’s oldest living couple. This year they celebrate their 80th Valentine’s Day together as married but if you count the time they were together before their marriage, it’s their 85th Valentine’s Day.

The sweethearts met in a zoology class at the University of Texas in 1934 and soon became love birds. The enjoyed a Coca-Cola on their first date and got married 5 years later in 1939, just as World War II began. They only had three guests at their wedding ceremony including the minister and stayed in a $7a night hotel for their honeymoon.

They say Valentine’s Day is still as special for them like when they first met, and their secret for the successful relationship is that they never fought much and they always make up before going to bed. The precious couple has also never had children and spent many years traveling.
