5-Year-Old Boy Saves Baby Sister And Family Dog From House Fire

Meet 5-year-old Georgia boy, Noah Woods, who has been hailed as a hero and made an honorary Bartow County firefighter for his act of bravery. The fire department shared on their Facebook page, that little Noah recently saved his little sister and family dog from a fire that destroyed their home.

The fire started from electrical equipment in the room he shares with his 2-year-old sister while they were both asleep. The young boy woke up to the smoke and flames in his room and decided to grab his little sister to leave the house through the window. Noah then returned to pull their family dog to safety.

‘Our hero!’Noah Woods, 5, was made an Honorary Firefighter today by the Bartow County Fire Department. A few days ago, Noah woke up to the smell of smoke, jumped out of bed, grabbed his two-year-old sister and got out of the house through an open window.Bartow Co. Once he rescued both his sister and dog, Noah rushed next door to get help to save the rest of his family. Luckily the family only had minor burns and smoke inhalations, but their home has been a total loss. The family has started a GoFundMe page to help raise funds so they can rebuild their home while they stay in a motel.
